The exceptional mountain “Tuni Condoriri” offers isolated small lagoon landscapes and fascinating Andean fauna such as gulls, Andean geese and wild ducks.
This is a fantastic trek amongst the Cordillera Real Mountain Range passing through valleys of Llama pasture and by pristine lakes. Although at high altitude, it is not a difficult trek and can be achieved by most people without any problems. For those wishing to get a little higher and condition themselves for harder treks/climbs there is an option to climb Pico Austria 5300m (please see separate Tuni – Pico Austria 1 Day item)
On this trek, we ascend through solitary mountains. The melting ice creates small streams that reach Lake Titicaca, along the walk you can enjoy the company of llamas, alpacas that occasionally pass by and many other animals such as vizcachas, lizards, ibis and gulls.
A trekking of 3 hours until reaching 4,600 m, where you can enjoy an impressive view of the snow-covered mountain Tuni Condoriri (5,648 m). After a break for the refreshment we return to the “Plaza de Llamas” in a two and a half hour walk and return to La Paz.
