TIWANACU

Tiwanacu was the center of the Tiahuanaco civilization, a pre-Inca culture that based its economy on agriculture, architecture and livestock. For approximately five hundred years, the Tiwanaku empire grew from a small settlement focused on growing crops and other products into a thriving ritual and administrative capital of a major political state.
